Introduction


Hadrian's Wall walk begins in the East at Segedunum Fort in Wallsend Tyne and Wear.  Segedunum Fort is the most easterly point on Hadrian's Wall and is the start of the 84 mile signposted trail to Bowness-on-solway in the West.

From Segedunum the Hadrian's Wall walk runs along the banks of the Tyne through Newcastle along the imprssive Quayside.  The Quayside is home ot the some of the Newcastles most famous sites.  The Tyne Bridge, Sage Music and Arts centre and Millenium Bridge are just the begining of the spectacular Hadrian's Wall walk.
