House of Hardy Museum

House of Hardy was established in Alnwick Northumberland in 1872 and has attained a world-wide reputation for producing the highest quality fishing tackle. The Museum was open by HRH Princess Margaret in 1987 and holds one of the finest collections of fishing tackle and associated products in the world. The museum allows an insight into the histroy of Hardy factory and family.

Directions:

House of Hardy is located on the outskirts of Alnwick near the A1. From the town centre head towards the Al south. House of Hardy can be found 600m further down on the left. Buses run between Alnwick and Newcastle and Berwick and local routes. For further info phone: 0870 6082608.  Car parking is available for all visitors at the front of the building.
