Derwent Reservoir is situated in the North Pennines in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the picturesque village of Blanchland. Kilder Water has 27 mile shoreline, Kielder Water is the largest of Northumberland's inland waters. It is situated close to the Northumberland National Park and is surrounded by the massive Kielder Forest which is the largest man made forrest in Europe.
