Berwick who back a cull of herring gulls apparently have a long way to go to convince their elected representatives. The Advertiser contacted all 29 Berwick borough councillors asking for their views on the gull problem and received seven responses. Majority are backing our 'Cull the Gull' campaign
THE Advertiser has been snowed under with responses following last week's launch of the 'Cull the Gull' campaign ? and the vast majority are backing our stance.

Advertiser launches gull campaign
THE Berwick Advertiser this week is launching a campaign for a cull of herring gulls in Berwick.
With increasing numbers of stories of people being attacked and shopping being stolen by gulls and with droppings piling up around the town, the problem is getting worse, not better.
