Stretching from coast to coast the trail starts at Bowness-on-solway in Cumbria and heads East to Wallsend near Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Hadrian's Wall Walk passes through rolling fields and rugged moorland taking in Carlisle and Newcastle Upon Tyne on the way. The Hadrian's Wall Walk is suitable for all with varied terrain and spectacular scenery. The Hadrian's Wall Path Trail consists of over 80 short walks all linked to create the coast to coast trail. It is suitable for people of all ages with opportunities for less abled access to many stretches of the Hadrian's Wall Path.
